Picturing Maryland: A Photo Every Day in 2025, Part 2
The Baltimore SunPhoto 4 - Students at [Patapsco High School] are learning about distracted driving as they experience interactive stations through the MileOne Autogroup funded DRIVE SMART Maryland partnership. Approximately 3,000 students in 12 high schools will learn about the dangers of distracted and impaired driving through a virtual reality texting-and-driving simulator, an impaired driving cart course and a simulated traffic stop.

Patapsco Students Pledge to "Drive Smart"
Dundalk EagleMileOne, also known as Heritage in the greater Maryland region, hosts Drive Smart Maryland, a fully-funded educational program geared toward driving-age students in Baltimore County. Throughout the duration of a class period, students participate in road safety trivia and participate in a host of simulation activities, which range from a mock police stop to a virtual reality driving test.
