Interactive High School Driving Program
Featuring Distracted Driving Simulator
Working closely with MileOneCares, the philanthropic arm of Towson based MileOne Autogroup, Drive Smart Maryland provides educational programming to young drivers. The goal of these programs is to raise awareness among young drivers of the real risks and dangers of distracted driving and ultimately bring down the number of crashes and fatalities on our roads and keep everyone safer on our roadways. The participants have the opportunity to engage in a number of hands-on, small group activity stations utilizing technology such as a virtual reality headset to create realistic behind-the-wheel examples of the consequences of distracted driving.
